Magnon-exciton proximity coupling at a van der Waals heterointerface

We report on an optically probed ferromagnetic resonance experiment which elucidates the magnon-exciton coupling at interface between a magnetic thin film and atomically semiconductor. Our approach allies long-lived magnons hosted in of yttrium iron garnet (YIG) to strongly bound excitons flake transition metal dichalcogenide, ${\mathrm{MoSe}}_{2}$. The induce dynamical valley Zeeman effect ruled by interfacial exchange interactions. This nascent class hybrid system suggests new opportunities for information transduction microwave optical regions.
